Signe Hawley, Principal of Datacated LLC, specializes in applying research methods to social impact and business questions. For over a decade, they have developed diverse skills enabling them to lead clients in evaluating programs, designing research strategies, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and analyzing complex, multi-level data sets.
Originally trained as an engineer, Hawley brings rigorous analytical thinking and scientific methods to their evaluation and impact work. While they draw from this mathematical background, their style incorporates human-centered design and is focused deeply on people. Hawley is most comfortable working with diverse teams, having conducted consultancies in the U.S., Europe, and Africa.
Hawley has worked across sectors in collaboration with nongovernmental organizations such as Oxfam and ASSET Education, government agencies including Denver Public Schools as well as private sector companies, such as Hewlett-Packard. They are energized by projects that enable innovation, growth and positive social change. When they're not crunching data, they spends their time hiking and cycling with their wife and kiddo in Boulder, Colorado.
